Role: Avionics Team Lead
Led the avionics team to design and build a plane with VTOL capabilities. Created an "iron bird" prototype showcasing avionics functionality. Employed Ardupilot Mission Planner as a ground station to collect flight data. Delivered biweekly stand ups and comprehensive project slide packs. Achieved 72.5% in the final technical report.
Machine Learning Project
Predicting Household Energy Consumption
Pre-processed dataset of 50,000+ households (1M+ data points) using integer encoding and min-max normalisation. Developed a linear regression model in MATLAB and programmed an artificial neural network for comparative analysis. Achieved 97% prediction accuracy through rigorous model evaluation and optimisation.
